Can I bring in my own stein to be filled with beer?
We are selling Der Nachbar steins that you can get filled with beer to drink on premise. You can bring in a pre-purchased Der Nachbar stein to be filled, but we will not pour beer into any steins that are not sold by Der Nachbar.
What beers can I get in a Der Nachbar Stein?
You can order any Oktoberfest-style beer (Festbiers and Marzens) that we have on tap for us to pour in your Der Nachbar stein, except for certain Spezial Oktoberfest styles which will be excluded from stein fills and will be notated in the shop.
How do I know what Oktoberfest beers are currently on tap?
You can always see what we offer on tap on our website, on Untappd, and by stopping by our shop!
How big are the Der Nachbar steins?
Our Der Nachbar Steins can hold 24 oz.
How many of your taps have an Oktoberfest-style beer?
It varies! We have 20 taps and began tapping Oktoberfest beers at the beginning of Oktoberfest (September 6th). We will rotate in other Oktoberfest beers as current beers on tap kick, while also maintaining a diverse menu. The best way to see more Oktoberfest styles on our menu? Drink more beer!
What steins will be allowed in the stein holding competitions on Saturday, October 14th?
Only our Der Nachbar steins will be allowed in the stein holding competitions. Each stein must be filled with either an Oktoberfest beer or water.
How will the costume contest work on Saturday, October 14th?
Anyone who comes by Der Nachbar, at any time Saturday, in an Oktoberfest-style costume can be entered into the competition. Your photo will be added to a digital poll that customers, on premise or not, can vote on from 4-6 PM on Saturday, October 14th. The winner will be announced at 6:30 PM.
